# Meridian Rebrand

Ethereal is becoming Meridian.

The name is changing, but the experience remains familiar. Meridian is the next chapter for the product, community, and docs, with the same focus on performant trading, USDe-native rewards, and useful infrastructure for builders.

## What This Means

You will start seeing Meridian across the app, docs, rewards pages, and community materials. In most places, Meridian simply replaces Ethereal as the product name.

Some technical references will continue to use Ethereal for now. That includes existing API hosts, testnet details, chain configuration, contracts, and signing domains. If you see names like Ethereal Chain, Ethereal Testnet, `api.ethereal.trade`, or `etherealtest.net` in technical docs, those references are expected.

## Points

Ethereal Points become Meridian Points on a **1:1** basis.

There is no reset, conversion, or action required. Existing point balances carry over under the Meridian name.

## Builders, Integrators & Market Makers

Current integrations should continue to follow the technical references in these docs. The rename does not require changing API hosts, websocket URLs, contract addresses, chain IDs, or signing configuration.

When a migration is needed, it will be documented clearly in the relevant integration guide.

## Older Docs

The Meridian docs focus on the current product experience. Some older Ethereal pages are not being carried forward here.
